Check-In (Flower Chapel, 8:30–9:00 AM)

Welcome and First Year Introduction (Students and Parents, Flower Chapel, 9:20–9:50 AM)
Students and parents are welcomed to the University of Valley Forge! ‚ÄčThe president will introduce students and parents to the heart and spirit of UVF. Then, learn how students are prepared to succeed through our First Year Experience course. 

Special Sessions for Students (before and after lunch)
• Student Life & Getting Involved at UVF – What is it like to live on campus? How do I get involved? What are the ministries and clubs like? Students answer these questions and more as Student Life staff share about the many opportunities available to students at UVF.
• Meet Your Classmates – Our friendly and highly engaging Admissions staff lead students in relationship and team-building exercised designed to begin those special college friendships.
• ID Photo – ID pictures will be taken so that you're all set when you arrive for fall semester orientation.

Special Session for Parents (before lunch)
• Successful College Transitions – Transitions aren’t easy, but they can lead to exciting new seasons of life! The Director of Student Success will share with parents some of the common transition issues students face and how the student program of Admitted Student Day will prepare them for a great start to their college career.
• The Value of a UVF Education – This session will reinforce the value of a UVF education and remind parents of ways to get valuable funding. Information on scholarships and grants will be given, as well as tips on student success through employment opportunities on campus.
• Navigating the World of Financial Aid – The paperwork seems daunting, but it doesn’t need to be! This session will help parents feel knowledgeable about the world of Financial Aid and feel confident about getting the aid that is right for them.
• Financial Success – Meet the folks in the Business Office who are here to help you create a plan that parents and students can afford. Learn how to navigate our online payment tools with ease and view sample bills and statements.

Lunch and Interest Areas, Bookstore Giveaway (Students and Parents, Flower Chapel, noon–1:10 PM)
Lunch provides students and parents valuable time to reconnect and process the events of the day so far. During and after lunch, students and parents have the opportunity to explore areas of interest including the Health Center, Athletics, Student Success and Career Center, Business Office, Financial Aid, Residence Life, and more. Appointments with these offices may also be made for the afternoon. One student registering for classes will win a $350 online bookstore voucher!

Supporting Your Student and Parent Information Session (Parents, Flower Chapel, 1:15-2:10 PM)
During the college years, parenting changes! During this session, parents learn helpful tips that will help them support their new college student. Time will also be given for questions and answers.

Orientation Preview and Closing (Students and Parents, Flower Chapel, 2:20–2:30 PM)
After Admitted Student Day, what is next? Orientation! Students and parents get a glimpse into the fun that awaits students on move-in day and the orientation that follows. 

Residence Hall Tour (Students and Parents, 2:30–3:15 PM)
Admissions and Residence Life staff take parents and students to see examples of typical rooms so resident students can plan what to bring in the fall.

Schedule and Farewell (Harrup Administration Building, 3:00–3:30 PM)
UVF staff and faculty welcome students and parents to the UVF family as they pick up class schedules, and fill out surveys, and pick up a parting gift.

Individual Appointments with UVF Offices (3:00–4:30 PM)
Students and parents can schedule one-on-one appointments with various offices.
