Career Services Center

Students utilizing the resources of the Career Services Center

The Career Services Center provides resume assistance, mock interviews, career counseling and… services for current students and alumni. The office also helps prepare students in career exploration, development and planning, graduate or professional school search or job search in order for them to access and learn how to most effectively use a variety of resources.

The Career Services Center also provides a job fair where many possible employers from around the Valley Forge area visit the campus looking for prospective employees. The College also provides restricted CO-OP on-campus job opportunities for students who, after submitting the FAFSA and utilizing all the financial aid that is available to them, still owe money on their student account and do not have a car to be able to work off-campus.

Off-campus jobs may be available in areas such as day care, department stores, drug stores, grocery stores, retail, restaurant/fast food, hospitality (hotel), clerical, administrative and sales. On-campus jobs may be available in different business offices of the College in areas such as dining services, marketing, media, admissions and other work-study positions.

Current students can visit My.VFCC (under the Career Services tab) to learn about specific on-campus and off-campus job opportunities or by calling 610.917.1461.
