As a digital media major, you will develop your skills in the classroom by undergoing technical training on professional equipment with certified instructors. You will participate in projects both in and out of the classroom in video production, web design, graphic design, digital audio, and digital photography. Each year, UVF’s Media Production Team – made up of UVF digital media faculty, staff, and students – provides video production services all over the country. Students can also participate in global digital media missions trips and travel nationwide to work at Christian conventions and events.

Bachelor’s Degrees

The Digital Media Communications program at the University of Valley Forge prepares students to possess a comprehensive understanding of electronic media, digital broadcasting, internet and social media as well as the ability to relate this knowledge in an ever-changing technological landscape. This major also includes hands-on instruction in a variety of locations, such as studios and live environments.

The Graphic Design and Photography program at the University of Valley Forge prepares students to possess a comprehensive understanding of theory and aesthetic development in design and photography. Preparation also includes hands-on experience with camera technologies, electronic media, social media, logo and brand development, typography and portfolio development.

The Recording Arts program at the University of Valley Forge prepares students to possess a comprehensive understanding of audio recording, music production, live sound reinforcement, electronic media, digital broadcasting, and internet and social media as well as the ability to relate this knowledge in an ever-changing technological landscape. This major also includes hands-on instruction in a variety of locations, such as studios and live environments.

The Video Production program at the University of Valley Forge prepares students to possess a comprehensive understanding of video technologies, electronic media, digital broadcasting, film, and internet and social media as well as the ability to relate this knowledge in an ever-changing technological landscape.
