Scholarships

 

Students demonstrate their skills to younger students
The University of Valley Forge is pleased to offer numerous scholarships to our students. Please keep the following requirements in mind:
  • Awarded to first time entering freshmen and transfer students.
  • The combination of institutional scholarships cannot exceed the student's tuition during any semester.
  • Students must be enrolled for and maintain full-time (12 credits) status for the entire semester.
  • All scholarships are renewable with a 2.0 GPA.
  • Application deadline for all scholarships is August 1 for fall entrants and December 1 for spring entrants.
  • Scholarships are not available for online degrees.

UVF Scholarship

The UVF scholarship is awarded to all students. The amount is determined by the student's financial eligibility and academic achievement.

  • Stacks with all other institutional scholarships
  • Renewable with a 2.0 GPA

Honors Scholarship

Incoming students with at least a 3.0 GPA and one of the following are invited to participate in the Honors Program.

CLT 87

Award amount is $2,000 per academic year ($8,000 total value).

Renewable for up to 4 years with a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA and continued participation in the Honors Program.

Leadership Scholarship

Incoming students with a minimum 2.5 high school GPA who have demonstrated leadership abilities through high school, community, or church experiences are invited to apply for the UVF Leadership Scholarship. 

Award amount is $2,000 per academic year for up to 4 years ($8,000 total value).

Award recipients will be required to engage in co-curricular campus experiences in exchange for the leadership scholarship.

To apply, students need to contact their admissions counselor and submit a personal essay about what Christian leadership means to them along with an activities resume. 

In order to be considered for the UVF Leadership Scholarship, a candidate must submit a completed application by February 16, 2018. 

Qualified applicants must be accepted through the Office of Admissions by March 1, 2018. Applications submitted or students accepted after this date will not be considered.

Returning Student Scholarships

The Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education has now made available two new programs to new students and also graduate students of the University of Valley Forge. The Riggs Scholarship Fund is exclusively for new students applying to UVF while the Next Generation Fund is designated for graduates (no earlier than May 2007) who majored in some form of church leadership. More information and applications are available online at AGTrust.org. *The combination of institutional scholarships cannot exceed your tuition during any semester. Scholarships will be applied only toward tuition charges. In order to receive scholarships, you must enroll for and maintain full-time status (12 credits) or the scholarship will be forfeited for that semester. Returning students must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA for all scholarships unless stated otherwise.
