Adjunct Faculty – Education Department
The Education Department invites applications for an adjunct professor position at the undergraduate level in the area of Special Education. Responsibilities include on site classroom teaching and meeting with students as needed. Compensation based on educational qualifications. Course days and time to be determined.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in the field of special education (bachelors or masters) required.
- Master’s degree required.
- At least three years teaching experience grades K – 8 in special education or inclusive classroom required.
- Higher education teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to Christian faith and practice required.
Potential Courses:
- SPE 403 Inclusion and Collaboration (fall)
- SPE 223 Introduction to Exceptionalities (spring)
The Department:
The Education Department offers bachelor’s degrees in Education leading to PDE certifications in Early Childhood PK-4, Middle Level 4-8, Special Education PK-8 (dual certification), and Secondary English 7-12.
