75th Anniversary

Valley Forge Christian College began celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year, beginning August 2013 at General Council and culminating with a memorable commencement ceremony on May 9, 2014.

Throughout the year, special events will take place to observe this historic time. Each of VFCC’s legacy schools will be represented in the celebrations, along with decades of alumni who comprise the VFCC family.

75th Anniversary festivities include Homecoming, Christmas at Valley Forge, select chapel services, a special 75th Anniversary Celebration which occurred on April 9th, and Commencement featuring Rev. Philip Bongiorno ‘55 as the Commencement speaker.

VFCC is excited to announce construction of a 75th Anniversary Plaza, which will honor the individuals and institutions that have made the College what it is today. The Plaza will include a cornerstone from the Green Lane campus, engraved stones and bricks, decorative lighting, benches, a time capsule, and other elements. Alumni and friends are encouraged to take part in this special initiative. Check back soon for more information about how you can participate.

In addition, alumni are encouraged to send photographs of their campus experiences at any of the legacy institutions to be included in the archives and at select events. You may send photos electronically via email to or by regular mail to 1401 Charlestown Rd, Phoenixville, Pa.19460, attention: Office of Alumni.

Valley Forge Christian College looks forward to sharing in this momentous celebration with its family and friends!
