UVF Welcomes Professor for Criminal Justice Program

The Department of Behavioral Sciences welcomes Associate Professor Derek Clepper. Clepper is serving as director of the Criminal Justice program. As director, he seeks to improve the program and its curriculum, advise students and share his knowledge and experience as a trial attorney/litigator. 

Clepper holds a Pennsylvania Attorney License with a record of success in over 50 jury trials and more than 10,000 bench trials. Clepper holds a Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, has served in various professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association and sought additional training and certificates to enhance his experience outside the courtroom. He also has years of experience as an instructor and lecturer for various professional agencies in the state. His extensive knowledge and experience in the courtrooms will bring UVF criminal justice students a new perspective from the Pennsylvania legal system.
