Town Hall Welcome Slide

Academic Growth. Spiritual Development. Leadership Formation. On Friday evening, March 23, 2018, President David Kim shared his vision and passion for defining a new culture of excellence and spiritual growth at the University of Valley Forge. Prospective students and their parents gathered at Fountain of Life Center in Burlington, NJ for the opening town hall, the first of four scheduled this year in locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Chancellor Ron McManus opened the evening, welcoming the room and introducing President Kim who proceeded to share his own life-changing testimony about being a student at UVF. Kim expressed his desire to inspire a new generation to serve the Lord: learning the Gospel, abiding in the presence of Christ, following and obeying His ways, and receiving the mission to go into the world as His disciples. Students are catching the vision, God is moving in powerful ways, and lives are truly being changed day-by-day at UVF.

During the Q&A session, participants asked about financial aid, academics, and student life. Additional information is available on the UVF website. One asked about the impact of the shift in culture and how it has affected faculty and staff. The audience was assured that the new vision has been communicated and embraced and that a positive, Christ-centered outlook is in full swing across campus. The UVF campus is truly committed to following God's calling for creating world-changers for Jesus, with a renewed focus on spiritual development and academic achievement.

Upcoming town hall meetings will be happening in June from 7-9 pm. This is a time for attendees to meet President Kim, hear his vision, participate in a Q&A session, enjoy complimentary food, and enter to win giveaways.
