UVF Camps

The Music Department and Digital Media Communications Department at the University of Valley Forge (UVF) are offering a 5-day camp for students entering grades 7-12.

 

Each day begins at 8 am with a 30-minute session of Christian community worship and biblical teaching. For those in the music track, the day will be continued with six sessions that include classes and rehearsals. For those in the digital media track, the day will be consisted of creating and learning digital media in our classrooms and studios.

 

Fun evening recreational activities will be held on and off-campus and will include activities like games, bowling, a movie night, and a trip to Arnold’s Family Fun Center. Day campers are welcome to participate in these evening activities which are included in the cost of tuition for all overnight campers.

 

On the last day of camp, music students will perform in at least one of the ensembles and digital media students’ projects will be displayed.

MUSIC CAMP

Students will participate in an exciting week of music study in a Christ-centered environment. Each day begins at 8 am with a 30-minute session of Christian community worship and devotions, followed by six sessions that include classes and rehearsals. Optional private lessons are offered at an additional fee of $60.

 

The following are just some of the benefits you will receive by attending UVF’s Summer Music Camp:

  • Receive advice on how to prepare for your college entrance audition

Performance opportunities are also an important part of the camp experience. Based on enrollment, one or more ensembles will be formed for the week (i.e. Wind Ensemble, Choral Ensemble, Worship Teams, etc.). Each student will perform in at least one of the ensembles on the last day of the camp.

DIGITAL MEDIA CAMP

Students will spend a week with UVF students and faculty engaging with state-of-the-art digital media equipment in a Christ-centered environment. Each day begins at 8 am with a 30-minute session of Christian community worship and biblical teaching. The rest of the day students will create and learn digital media in our classrooms and studios.

Group engagement is a part of camp and the digital media field. Students will have the opportunity to work together to create digital media projects that will be displayed at the end of the camp.

 

The Digital Media Camp at UVF will be a unique, fun, and memorable experience because it will provide opportunities to develop your technical skills in the context of a Christian camp environment.
