The Arts and Sciences Department invites application for an adjunct professor position in English. Responsibilities include on-site classroom teaching at the undergraduate level. Compensation is based on educational qualifications.
Qualifications:
- MA in English or education is required. Higher education teaching experience or upper-level high school experience is preferred. The applicant should be an openly committed Christian living a Spirit-filled life (Acts 2:4, Ephesians 5:18ff) affirming a doctrinal position consistent with Assemblies of God beliefs.
Potential Courses:
- ENG 103 Introduction to College Composition (developmental course- two courses in the fall semester)
The Department:
- The Arts and Sciences Department services one Bachelor’s degrees in English Language and Literature.
Spiritual Requirements
- All employees must be openly committed followers of Christ and sign the Community Life Standards.
