Department of Education

Education

The Department of Education offers multiple degrees dedicated to the success of future teachers. Teachers are one of the most impactful people in the lives of students. From learning how to read and write, to learning high-level math, students spend the majority of their days with teachers. That's why the Education department at UVF is committed to prepare you to be a competent and insightful teacher, as well as a caring and inspiring one.

Bachelor's Degrees

Students in the Education department complete a certain number of hours of both observations and field experience in a public school classroom during their sophomore and junior years. You will also gain experience through the student teaching program senior year, which will prepare you for the professional field before you graduate.

Graduates of the Education department have gone on to be:
  • Teachers
  • Principals
  • Administrators
  • Professors
Whether you dream about teaching in early childhood, middle level, or secondary education, UVF will prepare you to serve and teach future generations.
