Director of Online Operations

The University of Valley Forge seeks a full-time Director of Online Operations reporting to the VP of Institutional Effectiveness and the VP of Academic Affairs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Vice Presidents to lead the online operations graduate and undergraduate programs of the University including enrollment management, registration, assessment and advising.
  • Follow systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with governmental and University policies.
  • Work with other leaders to improve the effectiveness of online operations including increasing enrollment, student satisfaction, operational efficiency and student learning outcomes.
  • Plan and manage a budget in coordination with the University strategic plan and budgeting process.
  • Work with outside vendors and service providers to develop effective and more efficient systems and processes for online and other programs.
  • Directly supervise staff in the areas of Student Success, Academic Advising, and Enrollment Management in the online programs.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the University mission.
  • Assist the University community through presentations and written communications to understand assessment processes and institutional reporting of assessment results.


  • Research oriented and an understanding of government and accreditation related regulations and laws.
  • Strong technological skills and a high capacity to learn changing technology.
  • Student-focused and a service oriented attitude.
  • Commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
  • Service as a spiritual model through a Christian lifestyle.
  • Experienced in higher education and online education management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
