The University of Valley Forge (UVF) rejoices over recent news concerning UVF Board of Trustees member, Tom Zahradnik. Pentecostal Evangel (PE) News, formerly AG News, is the official news source of the Assemblies of God. In the January issue, PE News featured a celebratory article about Zahradnik's successful leadership within the Sound of Life broadcasting. His accomplishments while serving as CEO of the radio station are commendable.
The Sound of Life is a radio station with a vision to reach the city and surrounding community of Albany, N.Y. Listeners from a variety of backgrounds can tune in to receive a message of hope and encouragement primarily through uplifting music. Zahradnik says, “Our target is the unbeliever who doesn’t know Christ. We know our message is eternal and it can impact a person’s life forever.” The station is based in Kingston, N.Y., and it has only recently gained an FM frequency in the capital city. The Sound of Life is exceedingly grateful for all of the generous donations that came from local churches and various supporters in the area. With the newfound potential of reaching nearly 1.8 million listeners in a total of six states, Zahradnik along with all who have invested in the Sound of Life, have great expectations for the future.
